How to Add a Page to Your WordPress Navigation Menu

Navigation menus help visitors easily find content on your website. Follow these simple steps to add a page to your WordPress menu:

Step-by-Step Guide

  1. Log in to your WordPress dashboard.
  2. Go to Appearance > Menus.
  3. Select the menu you want to edit from the "Select a menu to edit" dropdown and click Select.
  4. On the left side, click the Pages tab.
  5. Check the box next to the page(s) you want to add.
  6. Click the Add to Menu button.
  7. Drag and drop, or use the Move Up / Move Down arrows to arrange items in the order you prefer.
  8. When finished, click Save Menu.

Alternative Method

If you want more advanced control over your menus, you can use a plugin such as Max Mega Menu. This plugin allows you to design and customize your navigation menus with extra styling options.

Tips

  • Always save your menu after making changes.
  • Test the menu on desktop and mobile to make sure it looks good and works correctly.
  • If you don’t see your menu on the site, check your theme’s Menu Location settings at the bottom of the Menus page.
