How to Change the Front Page in WordPress
By default, WordPress shows your latest blog posts on the homepage. If you prefer to use a custom page as your front page, you can easily change it in your settings.
Step-by-Step Guide
- Log in to your WordPress dashboard.
- Go to Settings > Reading.
- Under Front page displays, select A static page.
- From the Front page dropdown, select the page you want to display as your homepage.
- From the Posts page dropdown, select the page where your blog posts should appear (optional).
- Click Save Changes.
Your selected page will now be displayed as the front page of your website.
Alternative Method: Using a Page Builder
If you want to design a more customized front page, you can use a drag-and-drop page builder plugin such as:
These plugins allow you to design your front page visually with layouts, widgets, and custom styling.
Tips
- Make sure the page you set as your front page is published, not a draft.
- If you don’t see your changes, try clearing your browser cache or refreshing the page.
- You can change your front page settings anytime if you decide to redesign your homepage later.
